Today, we’ve got an interesting conversation with Ukrainian-born Antoniak Oksana about her innovative beauty industry method, recognized with the Travel to Art Award 2024 in the Best Creator category.
Tell us more about your unique NCM technology.
Natural Confidence Method: Restoring Beauty and Confidence – is a unique approach to permanent makeup for cancer survivors aimed to help people feel good again after tiring procedures and appearance changes.
Features of the Natural Confidence Method:
- Natural look. Thin strokes, soft shades and exclusive techniques are used to make sure the result matches the client’s natural anatomy.
- Personalized approach. Every case is different, so I create solutions that suit the client.
- Areola restoration. For clients after a mastectomy, I can recreate areolas using 3D-realistic techniques.
You studied at the French college Lycée Fernand et Nadia Léger. What is the main difference between the beauty industry in Europe and the USA?
European beauty schools focus on natural beauty, individuality, moderation and new technologies, especially for skin care and natural cosmetics.
In America, the focus is more on following trends and being showy, with schools adopting new products quickly, especially lasers and exclusive permanent makeup techniques.
What do you think about current permanent makeup trends?
Here are some key points: Natural look: Clients like results without a drastic change of appearance.
Individual approach: Techniques are adapted to the facial anatomy, skin type and client’s wishes.
Medical aspect: Regenerative techniques are important.
Ethics and safety: We make sure that everything is clean and safe.
What inspires people who work in the beauty industry? Where do you go to get new ideas?
Nature, fashion, social media, clients, international courses and self-improvement, creative communities and networks allow beauty masters to find new ideas and improve their skills.
